On December 17, 2025, Avatar: Fire and Ashes hit theaters worldwide. For CGR Cinemas, the objective was clear: drive attendance and make CGR the must-go destination to experience the film. Beyond awareness, the campaign aimed to convert anticipation into real-world visits by turning the movie release into a compelling, immersive reason to choose CGR Cinemas.
THE BREAKDOWN
The Challenge
For the release of Avatar: Fire and Ashes, CGR Cinemas didn’t need to create desire for the film, that already existed. The real challenge was different: how to extend the Avatar experience beyond the screen and make CGR Cinemas the gateway to Pandora.
The Strategy
Pandora already lives in the collective imagination as a place people want to visit. So instead of promoting a movie release, Sleeq built the campaign around a simple idea: What if going to CGR Cinemas felt like traveling to Pandora? This insight became the foundation of the entire activation, positioning CGR Cinemas not as a venue, but as the departure point of the journey.
